The pizzas I ordered were delicious, but I missed the customer service. With a little friendliness I would certainly have felt "more welcome".

I've been a long-time guest at Pizzeria Italia. The food has always been great, with a few exceptions. But what I experienced with my family this week was incomprehensible to me. The landlord has always been a bit grumpy, but with a little sensitivity you could even see a smile on him from time to time. Differences are made between the guests. We stood at the entrance to the garden until we were given a table. Without saying good evening we were rudely advised to put on our masks, which is not a problem, but the sound makes the music. Especially since we were still standing almost on the outside and assumed that it was not mandatory for him to wear a mask in the outdoor area. We then of course pointed out to him in frustration that he had to pull the mask over his nose and not just cover his mouth. He then said he doesn't have to, after all he walks around wearing a mask from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Okay, we put the mask on ... (a note again: it was requested for the first time in the outdoor area), and we have already been there 10 times since we were required to wear a mask. But what annoyed me most of all was that the other guests who came or went were again without a mask. Dear host: If that is hospitable to them, not to me. It was definitely the last time we visited them. Ps .: your ice cream parlor that you also own, there is no mask requirement. Mask requirement, yes, but then correctly and for everyone.

Food is very tasty. But if you value friendly and good service, you are wrong here.

Very unfriendly staff, were there with the children, they didn't like it immediately, my children got the food, the other children from the friend didn't, had to wait 1 hour until they complained, then they said we don't speak German , we should choose another Loka

We were there for the evening break due to the good Google rating. We arrived at 6:30 p.m., were shown a place from afar and also received the menus quickly. Then shortly before 7 p.m. our drinks were picked up and brought around 7 p.m. (I didn't think so great now ...) Actually, I order drinks and then calmly choose a meal and so it was ordered together. There was only one waiter in the house, at least the one we saw. Unfortunately, this was completely overwhelmed, although the restaurant wasn't even close to full. My Hawaiian pizza was very tasty, you really have to say and our starter “Tomato Mozarella with pizza bread” was also very tasty! Unfortunately, there was no balsamic vinegar on request ... but I don't know whether this is normal for Italians or not. For bruschetta lovers: this dish did not exist either. (Would have been feasible from the ingredients, but no chance.) My friend's and mother's noodles were delicious but didn't knock you off your feet: “Good value for money”. All in all two star deduction mainly for the service. The next time we will try an Italian in Bad Dürkheim, where you have to reserve a few days in advance!

Best pizza north of the Alps ??. Really delicious and popular. It is worthwhile to reserve a table at peak times. The mozzarella is of course the buffalo, we asked extra. In the summer you can also sit outside in the yard ??. The restaurant is a bit hidden ... But worth it ?
